Tasha Lockard is a 2006 graduate of the College of Hair Design massage therapy program. After becoming nationally certified and licensed in the state of Iowa, Tasha began practicing massage at Covenant Medical Center, spending part of her time working with new and expectant mothers in the Mother/Baby unit. In April of 2007, Tasha opened her own massage practice. Then in 2014, after 8 successful years of practicing massage, Tasha decided to put her massage career on hold to focus more on her dance studio that she opened in 2012. After handing the dance studio down to a fellow teacher in June of 2019, Tasha made the decision to return to the wonderful healing art of massage therapy. Tasha specializes in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, pre- and perinatal massage and sports therapy. Wave Therapeutic Massage is a place for guests to relax, rejuvenate, and heal.
